De CD werd dit jaar opgenomen als hommage aan George ENESCU (1881-1955), Roemeens violist en componist n.a.v. zijn 50 e sterfdag, in 2005 in zijn geboorteland herdacht met het Enescu-jaar.
The Cd was recorded this year as a tribute to George Enescu, Romanian violinist and composer, in remembrance of the 50th anniversary of his death, celebrated also in 2005 in his homeland with the Enescu-year.
